Quick Update
The numm has passed. Lincoln adjusted to the transition MUCH easier than Grace. Perhaps it's because he has his blanky to cling to, or maybe he was just more ready, but regardless - our baby has somehow morphed into a full blown kid!!

No More Nummies!
Lincoln is about the same age that Grace was when she 'gave up' (translation: was forced to forgo) her numm. SO, today we collected all of Linc's treasured numms and took them in a bag to Toys R Us. In exchange for his numms he got to pick out a big boy toy.
After much deliberation, we came home with three scoops and a dump truck. I consider that a fair trade.
Naptime was an epic fail (as Uncle Kyle would say), but we spent the afternoon and evening at the park celebrating Uncle Mike's 30th birthday so Lincoln was fully exhausted before bedtime.
He went down pretty easily and our little man has been in bed and quiet for about 1/2 hour now . . . (If you recall, Grace didn't go to bed without 30 minutes of crying for two weeks after she lost her numms).
Who knows what tomorrow will bring, but this is a good start to the de-numming process.

Lost This Battle
Grace was especially bratty when we went out for ice cream tonight and on the way home she was given a serious 'talking to.'
After I had listed a few things she had done wrong and why Daddy and I were upset with her there's a brief pause and I hear, "Is there a thurduball?" (Translation: Is there a third of all?)
At least I know she was listening.
